attorney Jason Medina has been named to the
Board of Trustees for the Burlington County
Community Action Program (BCCAP). Mr. Medina
is an attorney in GluckWalrath’s litigation
and public entity practice groups,
concentrating on the representation of
public entities in
transactional and litigation matters, and
general commercial litigation matters involving
private entities. He also serves as an elected
Committeeman in Bordentown Township.

BCCAP is a private, non-profit social service
agency established in 1965 to serve the
low-income population of Burlington County. It
is governed by a 27-member Board of Trustees,
including one-third representation from the
private sector, one-third from elected public
officials, and one-third from the low-income
population. Among other services, BCCAP operates
various housing programs, a home energy
assistance and weatherization program, community
programs, head start early childhood development
program and child care resource and referral

(May 11, 2009) --Two GluckWalrath
attorneys have been invited to present at
the New Jersey Association of
Counties (NJAC) Annual Conference in Atlantic
City, NJ. The conference will be held at Bally's
Park Place Hotel and Casino, June 16-19, 2009.
Attorneys Andrew Bayer and Cindy M. Perr will
present on Thursday, June 18, 2009, on "2009
COAH Update: Legislative and Litigation Issues."
The seminar will provide an update on the
implementation of the new COAH regulations, the
newly-passed legislation, and the status of
pending lawsuits. Topics will include:

regulations;

How municipalities are meeting their third round
obligations (ie., age-restricted communities,
family housing, group homes, municipal projects,
extensions of expiring restraints);

The pending litigation and what impact it will
have;

A summary of the new legislation and how it
affects the ability to meet the third round
obligations; and,
•
The impact of all of these issues on municipal
and county governments.

Perr of GluckWalrath LLP has been named one
of New Jersey’s “50 Best Women in Business”
for 2009 by NJBIZ Magazine. Recognized for
her "commitment to business growth,
professional excellence and to the
community," Perr was among those honored at
a dinner and reception on March 30,
2009, at The Palace at Somerset Park, in
Somerset, New Jersey. Ms. Perr and other
honorees are highlighted in an upcoming special
supplement to NJBIZ Magazine, available on
Best 50 Women in Business 2009.

Perr, a partner in GluckWalrath’s Litigation,

Practice Groups, concentrates her practice on
general litigation with an emphasis in the areas

Her experience also includes transactional and
litigation matters involving health law.
Ms. Perr was the co-founding partner of the
Firm's WON initiative ("Women Opportunity
Networking"), which brings together women from
throughout the state, working in the private and
public sectors, to network, socialize and
professionally enrich themselves at the Firm's
Trenton office. She was also recognized as a
"Rising Star" in the practice area of Business
Litigation for 2008 and 2009 in a special
edition of New Jersey Monthly Magazine.
In
addition to her professional accomplishments,
Ms. Perr is an active member of her community.
She is currently serving as the 2009 March of
Dimes “March for Babies” for Southern New
Jersey, after having raised over $20,000 for the
2008 March. She is a Chancellor Emeritus of the
Rutgers-Camden School of Law Alumni Association.
Perr currently serves as the gubernatorial
appointee to the Burlington County College Board
of Trustees, and also serves on the College’s
Foundation Board of Trustees. She is also an

welcomes attorney Jason Medina to its
Trenton office as a senior associate. Mr.
Medina’s practice includes the
representation of public entities in
transactional and litigation matters, and
general commercial litigation matters
involving private entities. Prior to joining
the firm, Mr. Medina was a senior associate
with a law firm in Pennington, New Jersey
representing public school districts in
complex litigation matters, contract
negotiations, labor grievances, and due
process hearings. He also previously served
as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx
County, New York, where he investigated and
prosecuted felony, misdemeanor and juvenile
cases. While a law student, he had
internships with the Honorable Ronald L.
Ellis of the United States District Court
for the Southern District of New York, the
Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor, a
civil litigation firm, and a non-profit
legal advocacy group in Boston,
Massachusetts.
Mr. Medina is a Committeeman in Bordentown
Township, elected in November 2008 to a
three year term. He serves as Township
Liaison to the Police Department, Fire
Districts, Emergency Management Services and
Animal Control. He is a member of the
Hispanic National Bar Association, New
Jersey School Board Association and the New
Jersey State League of Municipalities 2010
Census Awareness Committee.
Mr. Medina received his B.A. degree in
Political Science (with honors) from New
Jersey City University in 1997 and his juris
doctor degree from Northeastern University
School of Law in 2002. He is admitted to the
bars of the State of New Jersey and New
York.

Andrew Aronson recently participated in a
strategy meeting with representatives of the
New Jersey Department of Health and Senior
Services, including Deputy Commissioner
Matthew D’Oria, to discuss policy and
compliance issues regarding the provision of
adult day health services. Mr. Aronson, a
partner and director of the Firm's Health
Care Practice Group, concentrates his
practice in long term care and regulatory
compliance matters and represents various
providers in the health care industry,
including nursing homes, assisted living
facilities, hospitals and adult day health
service facilities. Prior to entering
private practice, Mr. Aronson served as the
NJDHSS Director of Long Term Care Licensing
and Certification.

a Big 4 accounting firm and a boutique tax and
estate planning law firm. Ms. Colella has also

immigrant victims of domestic violence obtain
legal permanent resident status. |
