(October 16, 2007) -- The women
professionals of GluckWalrath LLP recently
hosted the Women • Opportunity • Networking
(WON) Event on October 11, 2007, at the
Firm's Trenton office. An opportunity for
women to network, socialize and
professionally enrich themselves, the
semi-annual event brought together women
from throughout the state working in the
private and public sectors. This occasion's
special guests included a presentation by
Carolyn Remmey of Remmey Antiques and Fine
Art in New Vernon, New Jersey, a lecturer
and author who has also appeared on national
television shows, and Dr. Miriam Aronson,
Associate Clinical Professor of Epidemiology
and Population Health at Albert Einstein
College of Medicine, and recent author of
"Aging Parents, Aging Children: How to Stay
Sane and Survive."
"This was another successful event that
enabled distinguished New Jersey women to
support and collaborate with one another in
furthering their professional goals," said
Cindy M. Perr, a GluckWalrath partner. "The
theme of the Event, 'Six Degrees of
Empowerment,' reflects the notion that by
working together, women can foster their
individual interests."h

three year term on the Board of Trustees of
the Burlington County Bar Association. A
member of the Firm’s
Litigation
practice group, Ms. Perr is also an active
member of the Board of Trustees of the
Burlington County Community College.

Howard J. Eichenbaum was recently named
to the list of The New York Area's Best
Lawyers in Public Finance, as compiled by
the 2007 edition of The Best Lawyers in
America by ALM. Mr. Eichenbaum is a member
of the Firm's Public
Finance, Taxation
and Employee
Benefits practice groups. He has been a
member of the National Association of Bond
Lawyers since 1984, and a member of the
National Association of Bond Lawyers since
1993.

Timothy J.
Cunningham recently participated in a
panel discussion on business ethics
sponsored by Rider University in
Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Speaking before
MBA students, Mr. Cunningham provided
insight and commentary on New Jersey's
recently enacted "Pay to Play" law governing
public entities, and its impact on the
business community. A member of the Firm's
Litigation and
Public Entity
practice groups, Mr. Cunningham is a
graduate of Rutgers-Camden School of Law and
an active member of the Burlington County
Bar Association.

Megann
Anderson of GluckWalrath recently
spoke to members of Northern Burlington High
School’s “Future Business Leaders of
America.” Ms. Anderson provided commentary
to the students about the practice of law
from both a public and private sector
perspective, and discussed the legal
requirements and considerations for creating
and owning a business. "I enjoyed the
students' enthusiasm and interest in the
law, especially their interest in two actual
fact patterns which they debated," said Ms.
Anderson. Ms. Anderson is a graduate of
Villanova School of Law and practices in the
Firm's Health Care
and Public Entity
specialty groups.

Isabel Miranda
recently participated in a panel discussion
on Networking hosted by Women in Housing and
Finance on April 23rd held at the Bank of
America headquarters in NYC. Women in
Housing and Finance is a professional and
non-partisan association of women and men in
the fields of housing and financial
services, and is a premier forum for
national policy leaders to address key
policy issues. Established in 1979, WHF
promotes women through professional
enrichment and leadership enhancement. Ms.
Miranda was also a speaker at an Institute
of Continuing Legal Education seminar held
on April 24th on the topic “Ethical
Considerations in Drafting Buy/Sell
Agreements.” Her comments focused on
ethical considerations of attorneys serving
multiple roles or multiple parties in these
transactions as well as the implications of
the use of technology while retaining client
confidentiality.

GluckWalrath attorney Isabel Miranda
received the prestigious Mary Philbrook
Award from the New Jersey Women’s Political
Caucus at their Annual Conference held on
April 29th. The Philbrook Award is presented
annually to a woman attorney who has
demonstrated commitment to women’s
leadership issues. At the Annual Conference,
Ms. Miranda served as moderator of a panel
discussion entitled “How politics really
works - barriers to entry at the grass roots
level.” Other panelists included the
Honorable Mildred Krump, the Honorable Joan
Wright and Professor Paula Franzese of Seton
Hall Law.
