Two
GluckWalrath attorneys have been invited to
present at the New Jersey Association of
Counties (NJAC) Annual Conference in
Atlantic City, NJ. The conference will be
held at Bally's Park Place Hotel and Casino,
June 15-18, 2010. Attorneys Andrew Bayer and
Cindy M. Perr will present on Wednesday,
June 16, 2010, on "Public Officials and
Ethics: Avoiding the Pitfalls." The seminar
will address the following topics:

The Local Government Ethics Law; - Pay-to-Pay restrictions and the role of
ethics; - The role/importance of a Local Government
Ethics Board; - Recent developments in ethics law.
Andrew Bayer, a partner and director of the
Firm's Litigation and Public Entity/Municipal
Law Practice Groups, concentrates his practice
in land use and affordable housing litigation.
He represents public entities in transactional
and litigation matters, and private entities in
general commercial litigation matters. Bayer is
a resident of East Windsor, New Jersey.
Cindy Perr, a partner in the Litigation, Public
Entity/Municipal Law and Health Law Practice
Groups, concentrates her practice on general
litigation with an emphasis in the areas of
commercial, real estate and municipal law. Perr
is a resident of Medford, New Jersey.
NJAC serves as an advocacy group for county
governments and their taxpayers, promotes
federal and state legislative initiatives that
advance county interests, fosters cooperation
and coordination among New Jersey’s 21 counties
and aids county officials in providing efficient
and effective service to their constituencies.

Trenton, NJ (March 24, 2010) -- Attorney
Cindy M. Perr of GluckWalrath LLP was the
first recipient of the Burlington County Bar
Association’s inaugural “Above and Beyond”
(“ABBY”) Award for service and leadership to
the Burlington
County Bar Association. Perr
received the newly created award from
Burlington County Bar Association President
Edward Hoffman at the Bar’s February 25
“Bench/Bar Luncheon.” |
Perr, a partner in the Litigation, Public
Entity/Municipal Law and Health Law Practice
Groups, concentrates her practice on general
litigation with an emphasis in the areas of
commercial, real estate and municipal law. She
was named as one of New Jersey’s “50 Best Women
in Business” for 2009 by NJBIZ Magazine.
In addition to her professional accomplishments,
Ms. Perr is an active member of her community.
She is currently Chairing the 2010 March of
Dimes “March for Babies” for Southern New
Jersey. She is a Chancellor Emeritus of the
Rutgers-Camden School of Law Alumni Association.
Perr serves as the gubernatorial appointee to
the Burlington County College Board of Trustees,
and also serves on the College’s Foundation
Board of Trustees. She is also an active member
of the Burlington County Bar Association Board
of Trustees, for which she has presented
numerous seminars.

Association’s seminar entitled “Discovery &
Demonstrative Evidence for the Digitally
Dumbfounded." The seminar addressed such
topics as identifying the electronic
information case, disclosure and cost allocation, and an
overview of the state and federal rules
governing e-discovery. The featured speaker for
the seminar was retired United States Magistrate
Judge John J. Hughes. |

welcomes Daniel S.W. Choi to its Trenton
office as a partner. Mr. Choi’s practice
will focus on public finance, low-income
housing and redevelopment projects and
various corporate, real estate and municipal
transactions. Prior to joining GluckWalrath
LLP, Mr. Choi was an associate in the
capital markets department of Cadwalader,
Wickersham & Taft LLP, where he represented
financial institutions as sponsors, issuers
and underwriters in connection with public
and private securities offerings relating to
the securitization of various types of
financial assets, including tax-exempt and
taxable municipal bonds and commercial
mortgage loans. Prior to that, Mr. Choi was
an associate with Hawkins, Delafield & Wood
LLP, where he represented issuers,
underwriters and borrowers in connection
with the public and private issuance of
tax-exempt and taxable revenue bonds by
governmental entities on behalf of health
care, educational and non-traditional
501(c)(3) institutions.
Mr. Choi received his Juris Doctor from
Rutgers Law School, Newark, New Jersey, and
his Bachelor of Arts in political science
from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut,
where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and
was chosen as a President’s Fellow.
