Drafting and Preparing Made Simple" on

(September 17, 2008) -GluckWalrath
legislative agent John G. Donnadio was a
guest speaker at a luncheon for the Northern
New Jersey Chapter of the National Institute
of
Governmental Purchasing Officials (NIGP).
Mr. Donnadio spoke about several new laws
and pending legislation concerning renewable
energy matters, and the legislation’s impact on
local government officials. Mr. Donnadio
represents the Firm’s clients in matters
involving government relations & regulatory
affairs. He also has extensive experience
promoting legislative and regulatory initiatives
that allow local governments to provide
necessary services in a more cost effective
manner through shared services and interlocal
service agreements.
The Northern New Jersey Chapter of NIGP promotes
continuing education and professionalism in
public procurement, facilitates networking among
New Jersey purchasing professionals, and strives
for the improvement of laws relating to
government purchasing. Membership is open to all
public procurement employees of any political

(July 29, 2008) -- GluckWalrath
attorney Cindy M. Perr has been recognized
as a “2008 Super Lawyers Rising Star” in a
special section of the August 2008 issue of
New Jersey Monthly magazine, on newsstands
today. A member of GluckWalrath's litigation
and health law practice groups, Ms. Perr was
recognized as a "Rising Star" in the practice
area of "Business Litigation." She is member of GluckWalrath's Litigation, Public
Entity/Municipal Law and Health Care practice
groups.
To assemble rankings, the publishers of Law &
Politics survey lawyers for nominations of the
best attorneys age 40 and younger, or who have
been practicing for 10 years or less, based on
personal observations. A Law & Politics research
team then reviews potential candidates’
credentials and assigns points based on specific
criteria. Point totals from the survey and
research process are combined for a final tally.

(July 28, 2008) -- GluckWalrath
welcomes two new additions to its Trenton
office, attorney Lynn Besancon and paralegal
Frances M. Costa. Ms. Besancon's practice
will focus on Public Finance, bringing with
her over 20 years of experience as bond
counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and
trustee’s counsel in all areas of public
finance. Her representation of clients
includes state authorities, counties, local
improvement and municipal utilities
authorities, municipalities, and boards of
education. Ms. Besancon’s expertise extends
to projects involving general obligation
bonds, revenue backed debt and lease
transactions. She is a resident of Cherry
Hill, New Jersey.
Frances Costa has joined the Firm's Health
Care practice group after a career in public
service which spanned 16 years. After having
served in numerous management positions in
the New Jersey Department of Health and
Senior Services, Ms. Costa brings with her a
wealth of expertise in the areas of
licensure, certificate of need, and Medicaid
issues that impact licensed healthcare
facilities. Immediately prior to joining the
Firm, Ms. Costa operated a private
consulting business, from which she advised
and assisted clients on issues related to
licensure, certificate of need, and
Medicaid, and strategic planning. Her
clients included nursing homes, assisted
living residences, adult and pediatric day
health service providers, and private
practice physicians. Ms. Costa is a lifelong
resident of South Jersey and currently
resides in Evesham. |

seminar "Opposing Goliath: A Solo and Small Firm
Practitioner's Guide to Battling the Large
Adversary" on Tuesday, May 13, in Mount Holly,
New Jersey. Perr will be one of three speakers discussing the
methods by which solo or small law firms can
effectively manage and prevail in litigation
against large or well-funded adversaries. Topics
will include the efficient handling of pretrial

Trenton, NJ (April 25, 2008) -- Two
GluckWalrath
attorneys have been invited to present at
this year's New Jersey Association of
Counties (NJAC) Annual Conference in
Atlantic City, NJ. The conference will be
held at Bally's Park Place Hotel and Casino,
June 10-13, 2008.
Attorneys Andrew Bayer and Cindy M. Perr
will present on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, on
"COAH's Third Round Rules: Their Impact on
Municipal and County Government." The
seminar will address COAH's proposed Third
Round regulations, which dramatically
increase the statewide requirements for
affordable housing, and how municipalities
and county governments will face an
increased need for available services as a
result.
Andrew Bayer, a partner and director of the
Firm's Litigation and Public
Entity/Municipal Law Practice Groups,
concentrates his practice in land use and
affordable housing litigation. He represents
public entities in transactional and
litigation matters, and private entities in
general commercial litigation matters. Bayer
is a resident of East Windsor, New Jersey.
Cindy Perr, a partner in the Litigation,
Public Entity/Municipal Law and Health Law
Practice Groups, concentrates her practice
on general litigation with an emphasis in
the areas of commercial, real estate and
municipal law. Her experience also includes
transactional and litigation matters
involving health law matters. Perr is a
resident of Medford, New Jersey.
