Lynn Besancon is an attorney in the Firm's
Public Finance
practice group. Ms. Besancon has over 20 years
experience as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel,
and trustee’s counsel in all areas of public
finance. She has represented several State of New
Jersey public authorities, counties, local
improvement and municipal utilities authorities,
municipalities, and boards of education. Ms.
Besancon’s expertise extends to projects involving
general obligation bonds, revenue backed debt and
lease transactions.
Ms. Besancon is a member of the Bars of New Jersey,
Pennsylvania and Colorado. She is a member of the
National Association of Bond Lawyers, the American
Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar
Association, and the Burlington County Bar
Association. Ms. Besancon is also a Certified Public
Accountant.
Ms. Besancon received a B.A. degree in Accounting
from Lycoming College and received her juris doctor
degree from the University of Southern California in
1985. She is an active member of the Cherry Hill
Education Foundation and coordinates many of its
fundraising activities.
