Jason Medina joined GluckWalrath in 2009 and
practices in the areas of
Municipal Law and
Litigation. Mr.
Medina’s practice includes the representation of
public entities in transactional and litigation
matters, and general commercial litigation matters
involving private entities. Prior to joining the
firm, Mr. Medina was a senior associate with a law
firm in Pennington, New Jersey representing public
school districts in complex litigation matters,
contract negotiations, labor grievances, and due
process hearings. He also previously served as an
Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, New
York, where he investigated and prosecuted felony,
misdemeanor and juvenile cases. While a law student,
he had internships with the Honorable Ronald L.
Ellis of the United States District Court for the
Southern District of New York, the Office of the
Hudson County Prosecutor, a civil litigation firm,
and a non-profit legal advocacy group in Boston,
Massachusetts.
Mr. Medina is a Committeeman in Bordentown Township,
elected in November 2008 to a three year term. He
serves as Township Liaison to the Police Department,
Fire Districts, Emergency Management Services and
Animal Control. He is a member of the Hispanic
National Bar Association, New Jersey School Board
Association and the New Jersey State League of
Municipalities 2010 Census Awareness Committee. Mr.
Medina also serves on the Board of Trustees for the
Burlington County Community Action Program (BCCAP),
a private, non-profit social service agency
established in 1965 to serve the low-income
population of Burlington County.
Mr. Medina received his B.A. degree in Political
Science (with honors) from New Jersey City
University in 1997 and his juris doctor degree from
Northeastern University School of Law in 2002. He is
admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey and
New York.
