Andrew P. Aronson specializes in the area of
Health Care Law, with an emphasis on Long-Term Care and regulatory compliance. He gained extensive experience in these areas during his employment with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, where he served initially as a Legal Specialist in the Department’s Office of Regulatory Affairs and later as Director of Long-Term Care Licensing and Certification. During his time at the Department, Mr. Aronson was instrumental in the consolidation of all of New Jersey’s Senior Services into one Department. He also revised state licensing regulations for long-term care facilities, assisted living, medical day care and residential health care facilities.
Mr. Aronson has recently served on Department of Health and Senior Services’ Advisory Panels with regard to the development of new Certificate of Need Regulations and with regard to the development of both Certificate of Need and Licensing Regulations to govern Long-Term Acute Care in New Jersey. He also represents long-term care providers, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities and residential health care facilities before federal, state and county agencies.
Mr. Aronson is a member of both the New Jersey And Pennsylvania Bars since 1992.
Mr. Aronson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers College in 1988, and received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers - Camden Law School in 1992.
